WIMBLEDON PARK
ROAD
Originally a disused railway embankment, this site in the affluent high street of Southfields, South West London was transformed into a development consisting of five flats. The land had become derelict and overgrown, so our first step was to clear the plot and prepare it for construction. We installed the necessary piling and ring beam, and then excavated the site to create a single-storey basement, which included two luxurious flats.
The substructure of the property was built using rib deck and concrete blocks, topped with a zinc cladding roof. To give the exterior a unique and contemporary look, we used engineered German wood for the cladding. The interior of the flats received meticulous attention to detail, resulting in an impeccable finish. This included the installation of real wood floors, designer bathrooms, and kitchens of the highest standard.
Our client was extremely satisfied with our work and the efficient management of time. As a testament to the quality of the flats, they are now listed as premium accommodations on AirBnb.
