COVINGTON
WAY
Our client, a property developer, approached us with a project to develop a site on which they had obtained planning permission. The objective was to construct four semi-detached/terraced houses, each containing four bedrooms. The original site consisted of two semi-detached properties with garages, which we demolished in order to prepare the ground for traditional trench fill foundations.
We then proceeded to build the substructure using a combination of breeze blocks, timber joists, and steel beams, incorporating dormer loft extensions as well. Once the structural work was completed, we turned our attention to the exterior of the houses, preparing and rendering the façade in a crisp off-white color.
Internally, we ensured a high quality finish, adhering to a contemporary design specification. The colors used for the interior were carefully chosen to match the aesthetic of the façade, creating a cohesive and visually pleasing environment.
In addition to the construction work, we also addressed the neglected outdoor areas surrounding the site. Over the years, the land had become overgrown and in disrepair. However, through our efforts, we were able to rejuvenate the landscape. We leveled the ground, installed lush green grass, and included rendered planters and contemporary grey stone slabs for the patio area.
We successfully completed the project within the agreed-upon timeframe, surpassing our client's expectations in terms of quality and execution. As a result, we have since continued to work with the client on multiple other projects, forming a lasting and mutually beneficial working relationship.
