Our client came to us with an exciting project - they had recently obtained planning permission to build 6 flats on a site where there was currently a single bungalow. We started by demolishing the bungalow and preparing the ground for the construction of traditional trench fill foundations. For the substructure, we used ribdeck for the first floor and then built a timber joist frame for the rest of the structure, including the roof.
One of the requirements of the planning permission was that the facade of the property should be in line with the surrounding neighborhood, following an Edwardian style. We were able to deliver on this perfectly, using beautiful brickwork and sash windows that were all created in-house. The result was an impeccably designed Edwardian facade that blended seamlessly with the area.
Inside the property, we paid equal attention to detail. The interiors were flawlessly designed and completed to a top-class finish. This included bespoke kitchens and hardwood flooring, creating a luxurious and elegant living space. Both our client and ourselves were thrilled with the outcome of the project.
