ALDIS
STREET

We were approached by a client who had just obtained planning permission for a site to develop into 3 apartments which previously used to be an off-license with an office and garage to the rear.  The intended purposes for these apartments were to be listed and hosted on AirBnB, therefore the client demanded a high quality finish which we were able to achieve.

As part of a design and build contract, we were tasked with creating three apartments, consisting of 2x two and one bedrooms respectively. Our first step was to demolish the garage at the rear of the building, strip out the office, and knock through the walls. We used steels as instructed by our structural engineer to support the building, allowing us to open up the properties and create a new layout. We then extended into the roof of the existing building, creating a two bedroom apartment in the mansard roof extension.

Next, we began the construction process above where the garage had previously been. We dug the footings and constructed a two-storey extension to the side of the existing building using a combination of blocks, bricks, steel girders, and render. The extension was topped with a flat fiberglass roof. Once the construction phase was completed,

our in-house interior design consultant was able to produce a planned design for the properties from top to bottom, all the way from the kitchens down to the artwork. Our client was extremely happy with the sophisticated, beautiful, and cozy apartments we were able to produce, exceeding their expectations and all within budget
